Isaac Haxton (philivey2694)

Born in 1985 in the United States, Isaac Haxton is one of the biggest winners among poker pros. A young chess prodigy, he also competed in Magic: The Gathering in his youth. After competing in chess and Magic, Isaac made the transition to poker by making his first deposit of $50 at the now defunct Ultimate Bet. He quickly became extraordinarily successful. At just 21, he won $861,789 in a PCA tournament ($7,800 + 200 WPT Championship Event - No Limit Hold'em), finishing 2nd. His career poker winnings from tournaments alone total nearly $40 million. His biggest lifetime win came in 2018 when he won a $300,000 buy-in tournament. For his win, he took home $3.7 million. Isaac has 1 WSOP bracelet (won in 2023), 7 WSOP final tables and 4 World Poker Tour final tables. To this can be added his online cash game winnings, which are valued at over $2 million.

A spectacular 2023

Haxton had a spectacular 2023 on the poker front to solidify his status as a living legend. This included 24 paid places in tournaments around the world, his first WSOP bracelet in the $25,000 No Limit Hold'em High Roller 8-Handed, finishing 1st in an EPT tournament and 1st in a $25,000 buy-in tournament (on the PokerGO Tour). He has also won 2 first place finishes in PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Series tournaments.

Personal life

In 2015, Brooks Haxton (his father), published "Fading Hearts on the River: A Life in High-Stakes Poker", his son's biography. Isaac is now married to a woman called Zoe and they live on the island of Malta.
